Introduction

These Terms and Conditions govern your use of all services provided by Sanctuary Home, operated by Svetlana Smolyaeva (Dip NT mBANT), a BANT-registered Nutritional Therapist based in Ross-on-Wye, Herefordshire.

By engaging our services – whether as a client or as a referring healthcare professional – you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions in full. Please read them carefully before booking a consultation or programme. If you have any questions, please contact us before proceeding.

Our Services

Sanctuary Home offers the following services:

Online nutritional therapy consultations (1:1, via secure video call)

Intermittent Hypoxia-Hyperoxia Therapy (IHHT) – standalone oxygen therapy sessions and courses

The Men's Vitality Restoration Programme – a one-day residential experience addressing erectile dysfunction through functional medicine, IHHT, neurofeedback, somatic sexology, bioresonance, and nutritional therapy

Functional laboratory testing referrals and interpretation

Personalised nutrition, supplement, and lifestyle plans

Important Health Disclaimer

Sanctuary Home provides complementary wellness services. We are not a medical practice and do not provide medical diagnosis, medical treatment, or prescription of medications.

Nutritional therapy and all therapies offered within the Men's Vitality Restoration Programme are complementary to, and do not replace, conventional medical care. You are strongly encouraged to consult your GP or specialist regarding any health condition.

Erectile dysfunction can have underlying medical causes, including cardiovascular disease, diabetes, and hormonal disorders. We recommend that all clients have received an appropriate medical assessment prior to engaging our services.

Results from our programmes and consultations cannot be guaranteed. Individual outcomes vary depending on health status, compliance, genetics, and other factors outside our control.

Eligibility

Our services are available to adults aged 18 and over. By booking, you confirm that you are 18 years of age or older.

Sanctuary Home reserves the right to decline or discontinue services if, in our professional judgment, our services are not appropriate for your circumstances.

Section 05

Bookings and Payment

5.1 Booking

All bookings are made through our online booking system or by direct arrangement with Svetlana. A booking is confirmed only upon receipt of payment or a confirmed deposit.

5.2 Pricing

– 60-Minute Consultation: £80

– 90-Minute Consultation + Written 4-Week Health Plan: £180

– IHHT Single Session: £55 – IHHT Course of 10 Sessions: £450

– Men's Vitality Restoration Programme: price on enquiry

– Functional Laboratory Testing: price on enquiry

We reserve the right to update pricing with reasonable notice. Previously confirmed bookings will not be subject to price increases.

5.3 Payment

Payment is required in full at the time of booking unless an alternative arrangement has been agreed in writing. All payments are processed securely via Stripe. We accept all major debit and credit cards.

For the Men's Vitality Restoration Programme, a non-refundable deposit of 25% is required to secure your date. The remaining balance is due 7 days before the programme date.

For IHHT courses of 10 sessions, a 50% deposit is required at booking, with the balance due before your first session.

6. Cancellation and Rescheduling

6.1 Cancellations by the Client

– Cancellation more than 7 days before your appointment: full refund

– Cancellation 3–7 days before your appointment: 50% refund

– Cancellation less than 48 hours before your appointment: no refund

– Non-attendance without prior notice: no refund

6.2 Rescheduling

You may reschedule your appointment at no charge, provided you give at least 12 hours' notice before your scheduled appointment time. Rescheduling requests made with less than 12 hours' notice will be treated as a cancellation, and the standard policy will apply.

Rescheduling is subject to availability and can be arranged by contacting Svetlana directly via email or WhatsApp.

For the Men's Vitality Restoration Programme, rescheduling requests must be made no less than 14 days before the programme date.

6.3 Cancellations by Sanctuary Home

In the unlikely event that we need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, we will provide as much notice as possible and offer a full refund or an alternative date at your preference.

6.4 Refund Processing

All refunds are processed within 5 to 10 working days via the original payment method through Stripe, minus any non-recoverable payment processing fees.

7. Confidentiality and Data Protection

All information shared with us in the course of your consultation or programme is treated with strict confidentiality in accordance with BANT professional guidelines and UK GDPR.

We will not share your personal or health information with any third party without your explicit consent, except where required by law. For full details, please refer to our Privacy Policy at sanctuaryhome.uk.

8. Client Responsibilities

To enable us to provide safe and effective services, you agree to:

– Provide accurate and complete health information at the time of assessment and throughout your engagement with us

– Inform us of any changes to your health, medications, or circumstances

– Follow recommendations in a manner that is safe and appropriate for your circumstances – Consult your GP or specialist if you experience any adverse reactions

– Do not use our services as a replacement for medical treatment

9. Pre-Appointment Health Questionnaire

Prior to all consultations and programmes, you will be asked to complete a health questionnaire. It is your responsibility to complete this accurately and to disclose all relevant health conditions, medications, and supplements.

Sanctuary Home reserves the right to decline or postpone a booking if the information provided raises a safety concern or if the questionnaire is not completed within the required timeframe.

10. Contraindications and Suitability

Certain services – in particular IHHT Oxygen Therapy – may not be suitable for individuals with specific medical conditions, including but not limited to severe cardiac conditions, active respiratory infections, recent surgery, or uncontrolled epilepsy.

It is your responsibility to disclose all relevant health conditions at the time of booking. If a contraindication is identified, an alternative service or referral will be recommended.

11. Functional Laboratory Testing

Laboratory testing is arranged through Regenerus Labs. Test kits are dispatched directly to your home address. Results are reviewed and interpreted personally by Svetlana and discussed in a dedicated results review consultation.

Functional laboratory testing is not diagnostic. If clinically significant findings are identified, you will be advised to discuss these with your GP or relevant medical specialist.

12. Written Health Plans and Intellectual Property

All materials provided to you – including health plans, educational resources, programme documents, and written protocols – are the intellectual property of Sanctuary Home. They are provided for your personal use only and may not be reproduced, shared, or distributed without our written permission.

13. Limitation of Liability

Sanctuary Home will at all times act with reasonable care and skill in accordance with our professional training and BANT Code of Ethics. However, we cannot be held liable for:

– Any outcomes resulting from inaccurate or incomplete information provided by you

– Any adverse reactions where you failed to disclose relevant health information or contraindications

– Any loss or damage arising from your failure to seek appropriate medical advice

Our liability to you shall not exceed the total amount paid by you for the specific service in question. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

14. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

15. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time. The current version will always be available at sanctuaryhome.uk. Continued use of our services following any update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

PART B - Terms of Referral for Healthcare Professionals

These terms apply specifically to healthcare professionals submitting patient referrals to Sanctuary Home. By submitting a referral, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these terms.

16. Scope of Practice

Sanctuary Home provides only complementary wellness services. We are not a medical practice and do not replace or supersede the clinical care provided by the referring practitioner. We do not provide medical diagnosis, prescribe or manage pharmaceutical treatments, or position ourselves as an alternative to urology, andrology, or any other medical speciality. Our services are intended to work alongside conventional medical care.

17. Suitability for Referral

By submitting a referral, the referring clinician confirms that in their professional judgement:

– The patient is medically stable, and there are no contraindications to participating in our programme or therapies

– The patient has received or is receiving appropriate medical assessment and management for their condition

– Referral to a complementary wellness service is appropriate for this patient at this time

Sanctuary Home reserves the right to decline a referral or recommend further medical assessment before proceeding.

18. Patient Consent

The referring clinician is responsible for ensuring that:

– The patient has been fully informed that they are being referred to a complementary wellness practice, not a medical service

– The patient has given explicit consent for their contact details and a brief clinical summary to be shared with Sanctuary Home

– The patient understands that Sanctuary Home will contact them directly to discuss their referral

Sanctuary Home will not contact a referred patient without this consent being confirmed on the referral form.

19. What Happens After Referral

Once a completed referral form is received, Sanctuary Home will:

– Contact the patient directly within 2 working days using their preferred contact method

– Conduct an initial discovery conversation to assess suitability and answer questions

– Provide the patient with full information before any commitment is made

The referring clinician will receive an acknowledgement confirming receipt. With the patient's written consent, we are happy to provide a summary of programme outcomes.

20. Data Protection – Referral Data

All patient data received through the referral process is handled in strict accordance with UK GDPR and our Privacy Policy. Patient information is stored securely within our practice management system and used solely for the purpose of delivering the referred service.

Referral data is retained for a minimum of 7 years in line with BANT professional guidelines.

21. Financial Arrangements

Sanctuary Home's services are provided on a private, self-pay basis. All fees are agreed directly with the patient. There is no financial arrangement, commission, or payment of any kind between Sanctuary Home and the referring clinician.

22. Communication Between Practitioners

We welcome collaborative communication with referring clinicians where this is in the patient's best interest. With the patient's written consent, we are happy to:

– Share a summary of our assessment findings and recommendations

– Receive relevant clinical information that would support our work with the patient

– Discuss the patient's progress at agreed intervals

All such communication will be conducted professionally and in confidence.
